You know what's awesome that I never thought would be awesome? 95 degrees. Prior to this summer, 95 was a hotter than hades kind of day. This summer? It's sweet, sweet relief to days hovering around the 110-mark. Plus there have been clouds. Big, fluffy clouds to diffuse the haze of the blazing sun! Last summer I was wearing sweaters and scarves while begging for daylight. This year? You can't hide me from the sun enough! The relief from the heat was also well timed with a free day for the two of us. Mr. F hasn't had a day off in two weeks and we both revelled in a solid day free of commitments and full of books, naps, and whatever else we felt like. Days like that are too few and far in between for us lately and I'm just so grateful Mr. F had a chance to rest.

oh my,I just love that shirt!and the pose!:)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit combo! The details of that top are perfect! and I agree about the relief 95 degrees can feel like when it's been above 100...ahh!
ReplyDeleteI have that same Talbots skirt! Love this classic look on you. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! You look like you are having so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous outfit! And I am so impressed you are rocking it on a 'free' day and in that heat. You are putting my excuse of "It's too hot" to shame! Happy you and your honey got a day to play together; I agree they are far to far between over here too.
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason this is the only picture of me for the past 2 weeks..most of the days I am fighting to put clothes on at all it's so warm! (:
Deleteyou are adorable! and yay go blue!!! my husband went to ohio state, so we are big rivals!!!
ReplyDeleteoooh its been amazing to have a break from the sunshine although the humidity is too much for my body to handle, and its not appropriate to wear huge tent like maxi dresses in my office so thank goodness for the air con!! :) cute out btw - how your wearing it though on a off day i dont know, im usually in cut off jean shorts and a vest!
